Last night's performance was excellent. The orchestra outdid itself with the performance of the Prokofiev, which has some incredibly difficult spots throughout. Even the saxophonist turned in a half way decent performance (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). There really are some talented individuals playing in this group and they all should be heard more frequently. The next concert, please make your way out to hear and support this local group. Ron is doing a wonderful job pulling together great musicians, great music, and an active ocal music community.

Thanks again to all involved. I enjoyed myself tremendously being on stage and then off listening to the orchestra accompanying soloist Katie Thomas. To be so young, she is a great talent who commands the music to bend to her will. Her tone and technique were incredible, and her stage presence demanded attention. Yet she always managed to interact with the orchestra as well as the audience during her performance allowing us all a glimpse behind the veil to see a flash of a smile of joy. She was having as much fun as any of us!
